Pacific Records’ rising act The Moonjacks scored a major network placement when their upbeat track “Bummer” was featured in Episode 2 (Season 1) of Fox’s docu-comedy Welcome to Flatch—airing nationwide and streaming on Hulu shortly after.
Hailing from San Luis Obispo, CA, The Moonjacks formed in 2019 right after high school and quickly made waves with their infectious blend of punk/surf/pop energy. Their DIY spirit caught the ear of producer exec Brian Witkin, leading to a Pacific Records signing in 2020.The band released their first studio single “Sk8 Hi” in August 2022, which picked up traction via Spotify’s “New Music Friday” and “Surf Rock Sunshine” playlists, reaching millions of listeners. Their debut LP Bad Guy Stuff followed that fall to warm acclaim, crowned by the Welcome to Flatch placement of “Bummer.” Since then, they’ve toured Europe (including performances at Oktoberfest and San Fermin) and snagged a sponsorship from G&L Guitars.
